The Latin Sail is the synthesis of all activities, processes, knowledge and crafts, nautical skills and hardships, state of mind and beliefs, of everything that is entwined in this magnificent archipelago.
Latin Sail Days is a cultural, entertaining and educational event held during the celebration week of St.Michael ( September 29th ), the patron saint if the parish.
The peak of the event is the regatta of traditional wooden boats - called "gajeta" - with Latin sails.
